QUALIFICATION: B.E Civil or MBA Marketing

LOCATION: Chennai

EXPERIENCE: Minimum 4-6 years working

REPORTING TO: Managing Director

We have expertise in the fields of Soil & Rock investigation, Construction Materials Tests, highways, DPR, AUTOCAD Design and Planning, and much more. The concern for Foundation is high due to the expertise required to analyze the Soil. We perform various investigations to understand and obtain the various types and parameters of the soil for its better utilization.

JOB DESCRIPTION: We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Manager to join our team in the civil engineering sector. The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying business opportunities, building and maintaining client relationships, and driving the growth of our business within the civil engineering domain.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Market Research and Analysis:

· Conduct market research to identify trends, opportunities, and potential clients in the civil engineering sector.

· Analyze competitor activities and market conditions to develop effective business strategies.

Client Acquisition and Relationship Building:

· Identify and engage with potential clients, including government agencies, private firms, and contractors.

· Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions.

Proposal Development:

· Prepare and present compelling proposals and presentations to clients.

· Collaborate with technical teams to develop project proposals and ensure alignment with client requirements.

Sales and Revenue Generation:

· Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve revenue targets.

· Negotiate contracts and agreements with clients to ensure mutually beneficial partnerships.

Networking:

· Attend industry events, conferences, and trade shows to network with potential clients and partners.

· Represent the company professionally and contribute to its positive image in the industry.

Team Collaboration:

· Collaborate with internal teams, including engineering, project management, and finance, to ensure seamless project execution and client satisfaction.

· Provide feedback and insights to enhance the company’s service offerings.

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS

  • Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering and MBA

     

  • Proven experience in business development, sales, or a related role within the civil engineering industry.

     

  • Strong understanding of civil engineering concepts and project lifecycles.

     

  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.

     

  •  Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

     

  • Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets.
